Clinical Director (Senior Manager)
ABA Consultation and Services (ABACS) is looking to hire for a Clinical Director (senior manager position) in our Braintree, MA location. The clinical director position is a senior level management position in the company. This position is ideal for someone with a Ph.D., as well as a Ph.D. student/candidate.
The Clinical Director helps to grow and advance the agency in line with the agency’s mission. S/he acts in accordance with the highest professional, ethical, and clinical standards. The clinical director reports to the program director, and is responsible for provisions (quality and quantity) of day to day clinical operations for their assigned clinical team/department. To meet this end, the clinical director supervises behavior analysts and a small number of graduate students in ABA programs, as well as associated administrative functions and staff such as a scheduling coordinator and staff trainer behavior analyst. S/he is responsible for helping to establish, implement, and enforce agency-wide policies, protocols, and related documentation for the provision of high quality behavior analytic services in accordance with guidelines set forth by ABACS, the BACB® and other pertinent regulatory bodies as may be applicable. The clinical director would be (or become) familiar with the funder types with whom we work, such as insurances, school districts, and state funded programs. While this is primarily a senior level clinical management role, clinical directors do have a lot of flexibility, support, and resources to conduct and oversee research.
The new Clinical Director would have a lot of support, but would also need to have the skill set to be successful when functioning independently. The ideal candidate should be seeking a senior management role, and would be seeking an opportunity to be a leader in helping to strengthen and grow our agency. While prior experience in this capacity is beneficial, it is not required due to the training and support that would be available to the candidate.
Compensation is competitive, and this person would have virtually all expenses, including incidentals, paid to a few major conferences annually (i.e. ABAI, APBA, local ABA conference). Specifics surrounding the benefits package will be discussed with interested candidates.
