Intake & OnboardingCoordinator
We are currently recruiting an Intake and Onboarding Coordinator (IOC) to work in our Woburn office. The person in this position would be responsible for welcoming prospective client families to our agency, which will include travel to prospective client homes. The IOC will conduct intake interviews and help prospective families determine eligibility for services, which may include collecting documentation and confirming eligibility by phone or online with insurance companies. The IOC will play an active role in client and funding source recruitment, including collaborating on recruitment goals, working in conjunction with the hiring team to coordinate client and staff recruitment campaigns, and representing ABACS, LLC at community-related events and health and career fairs. The IOC will also participate in our on-call system, general office management tasks, and special projects.
Additionally, the IOC will coordinate the onboarding process for new staff, including confirming employment eligibility, establishing new staff accounts in our electronic systems, and coordinating the training schedule with new staff. The IOC will support systems across the hiring and intakes processes.
Applicants must be dedicated, reliable, and professional. They will work closely with prospective client families, new staff, as well as office staff and senior management, and they must ensure confidentiality of sensitive client and personnel information. The IOC must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and applicants should be detail-oriented and highly self-motivated. This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule and occasional weekend requirements. The position takes place primarily in an office environment, which is handicap accessible, and will involve many sedentary activities, but also requires driving to prospective client homes as well as recruitment events, which may or may not meet the same accessibility requirements. The IOC will respond to email, communicate regularly and effectively by phone, and to drive to various locations. The position requires access to a reliable vehicle.
